AMMAN — The Dead Sea Panorama Complex welcomed 18,972 visitors during the first seven months of 2026, recording a slight increase of 0.5 per cent compared with 18,873 visitors during the same period in 2025, according to data from the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities.
The figures showed a notable rise in domestic tourism, with the number of Jordanian visitors increasing by 11.9 per cent to 12,341, compared with 11,033 visitors during January-July 2025, Al Mamlaka TV reported.
At the same time, international visitation declined by 15.4 per cent, with the complex receiving 6,631 foreign visitors during the first seven months of 2026, compared with 7,840 during the corresponding period last year.
Located on the eastern shores of the Dead Sea, the Dead Sea Panorama Complex offers visitors an introduction to the region's distinctive natural environment, geological history and human heritage. Its exhibitions explore the origins of the Dead Sea, its unique ecosystem, the relationship between people and the area, and the environmental challenges threatening the region.
The complex is also known for its elevated location, offering sweeping views across the Dead Sea and the surrounding landscape, making it a popular stop for visitors exploring one of Jordan's most distinctive natural destinations.
